I broke it.

I have already broke my new years resolution by buying a new game, Another code: Recollection (odd title) .

Another code is a point and click game where you play as Ashley Mizuki Robins, the opening scene shows a boy witnessing his fathers murder in the 1950’s then shows a 3 year old Ashley witnessing her mothers murder in the 1990’s. You quickly find out that her father brought her to his sister to look after and made her promise to tell Ashley that he was dead until her father sends her a letter stating that he is alive and to meet him at an island. On the boat ride over Ashley’s aunt tells her that her father is a neuroscientist who specialise in memory.

Why did I summarise the beginning of the story? Because I want to call it now. Ashley’s father killed his wife to recreate the mental trauma of the boy in the 1950’s witnessing his fathers murder. He is experimenting on Ashley. I hope I am wrong, I like to be surprised by stories and not be able to see the shape of the end from a mile away.
